On Saturday 12th May, 2018 at 8.00pm the Goethe Choir and Young European Strings will perform the incredible Mozart's Requiem under the direction of conductor John Dexter.  They will be joined by 4 soloists including Soprano Virginia Kerr and Mezzo Soprano Raphaela Mangan.  Written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart the Requiem is one of the most famous and compelling compositions of all time. Left unfinished at the time of his death in 1791, musicologists have long been fascinated with the mystery surrounding its completion.

Mozarts Requiem has been used to soundtrack numerous movies including "X-Men 2, Under Suspician, The Big Lebowski, Eyes Wide Shut and Amadeus".  His final masterpice is regularly performed worldwide from New York's Carnegie Hall to Milan's La Scala and has inspried audiences for centuries.  It was also celebrated as President John F. Kennedy's memorial mass in 1964.

Experience the wonderful music of one of the world's greatest romantic composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as the Carmichael Centre presents its 2018 Dublin May Choral Concert.  All proceeds from programmes sales, ticket sales and collections will go to support the vital work of the Carmichael Centre.
